Street Dancing is aesthetic

Image
The largest Catholic educational facility in Vigan, St. Paul College of Ilocos Sur, which shares its name with the chapel, was established in his honor. The Vigan City Fiesta typically lasts a few days. This time frame includes the annual celebration of Vigan's cityhood anniversary on January 27. The Filipino custom of going back to one's hometown to celebrate fiestas with family and friends is practiced by Biguenos from all over the nation and even from abroad, who come to Vigan to participate. The parades, street dancing, and cultural events organized by the local government with assistance from the local businesses and communities draw thousands of tourists from other regions of the Philippines and abroad to join them. There are art and craft fairs, cuisine festivals, and mobile carnivals. The Vigan City Fiesta days are filled with festivities at the Longganisa Festival. Even though COVID 19 hasn't vanished and may still be at large, the wearing of a mask was nonetheless...

I Stan Estudyantrepeneur!

The month of Technology and Livelihood Education is when many students exhibit their entrepreneurial spirit. A great opportunity to express a lot of creativity, especially if those endeavors can support you financially. I've been to a lot of booths, and they were all quite fascinating. Many pupils were engaged in the activity and working. The lunch they prepared was fantastic! There was even a "ukay-ukay" section of the dress-making exhibit, which featured some unusual designs. Imagine if they were created exclusively by students. They also had some amazing cuisine, and they can even make longanisa! There was a huge selection of meals alone. I've eaten and purchased items in a few of the booths, but I never received any instructions. This experience has taught me that you may express your own creativity. both in the creation of clothing and of the many woodcrafted items. You can make all of things from your own ideas and sell them for a healthy profit. Anything is po...

Wrapping up Quarter 2

Image
Another grading period is done. Compared to quarter 1, quarter 2 has been more challenging. My ICT course has given me some space to think, even though I have no idea what HTML is or how it links to my past coursework. HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the most essential component of the Web. It defines the purpose and organization of online material. The fact that HTML is free and doesn't require any specific software is one of its biggest benefits. The two different kinds of tags—stand-alone tags and container tags—were also introduced to me. I can simply add any background color or image using HTML elements and codes. Additionally, I may change the typefaces, font size, and images that correspond to my themes. Initially, I had no idea I could make a form or tables with it; I had assumed that was all. Each article I create using HTML enables me to provide links to my references. I initially had trouble understanding how to utilize the tag, where to place the phrases, and...

Save the Children

Image
By virtue of Republic Act 10661, National Children's Month is observed in November with the intention of educating Filipinos about the value of children's rights. The goal of this month-long event is to give Filipino children access to a healthy environment, a good education, and medical treatment. More crucially, empathy is what is driving this event. The Philippines, a third-world nation, reports a large number of households having financial difficulties every year. Universal Children's Day, sometimes known as World Children's Day, was first marked on November 20 in 1954 with the goals of fostering global understanding, raising children's consciousness, and enhancing their welfare. The day promotes children's rights and brings attention to the value of educating them because they are the future. Filipinos are encouraged to join this initiative during this month. Children should have their own rights because they are unique persons. Furthermore, everyone should...

Thank you 2022, Welcome 2023!

As the old year comes to a close, it's natural to look ahead to the new year and think about what we want to accomplish. The phrase "new year, new me" has become a popular way to express the desire to start fresh and make positive changes. But how can we make sure that we actually follow through on our resolutions? One key to success is setting specific, achievable goals. Instead of vowing to "lose weight" or "exercise more," we can set specific goals such as losing 10 pounds or going to the gym three times a week. By setting clear, attainable goals, we are more likely to stay motivated and on track. Another way to embrace the new year and a new me is by finding ways to hold ourselves accountable. This might mean enlisting the support of a friend or family member or joining a support group or accountability program. Having someone to check in with and keep us on track can be a big help in staying committed to our goals. Finally, it's important to b...

The New Normal of Christmas: Adapting to a Changing World

Image
Christmas is a time of joy and celebration, a time when people come together to share in the holiday spirit. But this year, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to adapt and find new ways to celebrate. The holiday season may feel different this year, but that doesn't mean it can't be just as special. One of the biggest changes we've had to adapt to is the need for social distancing. This means that large gatherings, such as the traditional family Christmas dinner, may not be possible. Instead, many people are opting for small gatherings or virtual celebrations with loved ones. While it may be difficult to be apart from loved ones during the holidays, these measures are necessary to keep everyone safe and healthy. Another change we've had to adapt to is the increase in online shopping. With many non-essential stores closed or operating at reduced capacity, more people are turning to the internet to do their holiday shopping. While this may be convenient, it's import...
