Street Dancing is aesthetic

The largest Catholic educational facility in Vigan, St. Paul College of Ilocos Sur, which shares its name with the chapel, was established in his honor. The Vigan City Fiesta typically lasts a few days. This time frame includes the annual celebration of Vigan's cityhood anniversary on January 27.

The Filipino custom of going back to one's hometown to celebrate fiestas with family and friends is practiced by Biguenos from all over the nation and even from abroad, who come to Vigan to participate. The parades, street dancing, and cultural events organized by the local government with assistance from the local businesses and communities draw thousands of tourists from other regions of the Philippines and abroad to join them. There are art and craft fairs, cuisine festivals, and mobile carnivals. The Vigan City Fiesta days are filled with festivities at the Longganisa Festival.

Even though COVID 19 hasn't vanished and may still be at large, the wearing of a mask was nonetheless recalled when watching. Once our safety has been guaranteed, we are all quite glad that we can once again celebrate our fiestas as we once did.
