Wrapping up Quarter 2
Another grading period is done. Compared to quarter 1, quarter 2 has been more challenging. My ICT course has given me some space to think, even though I have no idea what HTML is or how it links to my past coursework. HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the most essential component of the Web. It defines the purpose and organization of online material. The fact that HTML is free and doesn't require any specific software is one of its biggest benefits. The two different kinds of tags—stand-alone tags and container tags—were also introduced to me. I can simply add any background color or image using HTML elements and codes. Additionally, I may change the typefaces, font size, and images that correspond to my themes. Initially, I had no idea I could make a form or tables with it; I had assumed that was all. Each article I create using HTML enables me to provide links to my references.
I initially had trouble understanding how to utilize the tag, where to place the phrases, and how everything worked together. I had no notion how it was meant to operate, so it was like doing something unfamiliar and new to me. But as time goes on, I progressively understand how HTML functions and how useful it is in my everyday life.
I will now make every effort to comprehend and enjoy the new lessons we will be discussing in the upcoming Quarter. I honestly don't know how learning HTML will apply to my current situation or future career, but I will value the knowledge nonetheless in case I ever find a use for it.
