The Average Girl writes her Blog for the First Time

Hi! I'm Maria Franchesca Abellera Queypo. I was born on September 8, 2006, I am now 16 years old. Grade 10 student at Ilocos Sur National High School. I’m the firstborn daughter of Kate Pamela and Emmanuel Paul. I have a younger brother named Jericko Nathan. We are neither poor nor rich. We are currently living in our grandmother’s house (father’s side) here in Vigan. We sometimes go to Candon City to visit my mother’s relatives if we have time like short breaks, Christmas Vacations, and Summer vacations.  I studied here in Vigan when I was in kindergarten - grade 1, grade 2 – grade 4 in Manila, and grade 5 – present here in Vigan.

 

I am currently having a hard time understanding some lessons since I am poor in comprehension, especially with new and unfamiliar lessons. But as a  SSC student (Special Science Class student) I am trying my best to at least meet the expectations our teachers have in an SSC student. I also don't want to disappoint my family because all I can do in repaying their sacrifices and hard work just to feed us 3 times a day, give us shelter and send us to school is to give my very best at school, graduate college, and find a nice job. Of course I don't forget to spare enough time for myself and my family. I would join my family for dinner every time I got the chance to, we would talk about different topics like what happen in school or work, if me and my brother even understand today’s topic in class, what can possibly happen tomorrow like if we have a quiz in ICT or if there’s a program at daddy’s work ect..  I would spent my "me" time in many ways like sleeping, eating, watching kdramas or animes, and reading comic books. Ever since I was a child, reading comics really entertained me. I would look for the the comic section of a news paper (if ever we have one every time we have a group activity that requires us to bring a news paper during my elem days) and just read them. I also play some sports like badminton and volleyball. I started playing badminton when I was around 8 years old. Our mom taught me and my brother how to serve and some common rules that an 8 year old and a 6 year old can understand. Me and my brother fell in love with badminton that we ask our mom to buy a badminton and shuttlecock without us knowing how to play badminton or how to use it. looking back at this memory feels so nostalgic for me. Me and my brother would still play if we get the chance to, we would sometimes invite our friends to join us and play. As for volleyball i only started playing this year with my friends and classmates after classes and it it doesn't rain.

In conclusion for today’s blog, I am just an ordinary county girl with a loving family, trustworthy friends, and understanding teachers. I have hobbies to do like other people and some sports to play. There are still a lot of things I would want to put in my first blog but it would seem like i'm already telling my life story instead of introducing myself like my likes and dislikes, favorite movie, color, film, comic book and some childhood stories. It it such a shame that I would now be ending my first blog. But don't worry because i would still be posting more blogs, so please look forward to my next blog!
